You can go spend some time studying Western history and looking at displays of Western leather work at the King’s Saddlery Museum and Sheridan County Museum. Sheridan has lots of places to eat and shop. There are also golf courses and places to jog and run. You can also visit one of the parks in Sheridan. These parks are Thorne Ridge Stadium Park, Sheridan Inn National Historical Landmark Park and Kendrick Park.

There are events that are held each year that your senior is sure to enjoy. On the second week of July, the City of Sheridan has the WYO Rodeo. The week’s events for the rodeo include a parade, a rubber duck race, the “Sneakers and Spurs” run, a golf tournament and a carnival.
