Chandler's yearly attractions include the Ostrich Festival, which draws over 200,000 people every year; the Tumbleweed Christmas Tree Celebration, Greek Fest; and Jazz Fest. The city manages the Hummingbird Habitat at Desert Breeze, the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden--a project of the Water Conservation Division, the Arts Commission, and the Parks Division; six pools and aquatic centers; three libraries; and the 6.5-mile multi-use pathway Paseo Trail on the eastern side of the Consolidated Canal. Golfers will love Chandler's five championship courses. Downtown offers a micro-brewery, winery, shopping and the Chandler Center for the Arts among other amenities.

Drop in to the Chandler Senior Center on 202 E. Boston St. Here you'll find dozens of daily activities such as bingo, bunco, and pinochle. Plus arts and crafts like ceramics and quilting. There's also a computer lab, exercise classes, walking clubs and bowling and movie field trips.
