The beautiful and serene abbey has the Wet Mountains as its backdrop and features many wines for tasting.

The cost of living in this southwestern Colorado area is much lower than the national average. Seniors enjoy a rate of approx $2,500 per month for a one-bedroom private room, when across the country a similar room’s average rate is $6,874. The state sales tax is 2.9%, much lower than the average 9.6% across the country.
