Watch out!

My mother has COPD and was brought here due to a hospital stay because of respiratory failure. She is suppose to be receiving rehab/therapy so she can return to her home. She was admitted from the hospital with an IV that was left in inadvertently. She asked the nursing staff to remove it for four (4) days before it actually happened. After 12 hours of being a resident in the facility I received a phone call from her stating that she was having trouble breathing and had told the nurse who did nothing about it. I took her meds into her so she could have them when she needed them. I have tried on numerous occasions to talk to the nursing director just to be told that they could take a message and have her call me back. We are now on day five (5) and the rehab/therapy has not happened. I could go on with more damaging evidence but these are the just some of the things that I can think of off the top of my head. I am calling the doctor to have her discharged from this place because they are the worst at caring for this particular individual!
