A family's worst nightmare

I experienced several major catastrophe's at this facility.

The year was 2006

(1) another male resident was allowed to verbally and almost physically assault my father in my presence. (2) the night before my father passed away.....he was experiencing what is called the death rattle.....unable to talk.....and fading in and out of consciousness.... an unsupervised, and un-informed CNA force fed my father......he had to be aspirated! (3) A State Licensed facility does not mean the staff likes their job or chosen career......this facility had a constant turn over of staff.....and always appeared to be short staffed!

Thank God I was there for both incidents!
